AB Tawil & Associates Inc. started in 2008 with a simple goal: to help business owners stay organized, compliant, and confident about their finances. What began as a one-person office has grown into a team of more than 25 professionals, including CPAs, Enrolled Agents, bookkeepers, payroll specialists, and administrative staff. We are based in San Diego, California, but serve clients throughout the United States and abroad, offering clear, reliable, and personal accounting services that help businesses grow.

Introducing Alberto Tawil Hanono
Alberto Tawil Hanono, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, founded the firm after earning his degree in Accounting and Business Management from ITAM, one of Mexico’s leading universities. His background in both Mexican and U.S. accounting systems helped shape the firm’s focus on cross-border taxation and the Hispanic business community. Today, Alberto continues to lead the firm’s direction, ensuring that our values of honesty, empathy, and quality service guide everything we do.

Our Team and Culture
Our team reflects the community we serve: bilingual, multicultural, and committed to great service. All of our bookkeepers speak Spanish, and many of our tax professionals are bilingual as well. This allows us to communicate clearly and understand our international clients not only linguistically, but culturally.
